How we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Altermed Material Médico Hospitalar Ltda ("Altermed", "we"), registered under CNPJ 00.802.002/0001-02, headquartered at Estrada Boa Esperança, 2320, Fundo Canoas, Rio do Sul – SC, ZIP 89163-554, Brazil, is responsible for processing personal data collected on this website, in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Lei nº 13.709/2018 – LGPD).
This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what your rights are as a data subject.
1. Data we collect
Contact Form
When you send a message through the contact form, we collect: name, e-mail, phone (optional), subject (optional), and message.
Purpose: to respond to your inquiry.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (LGPD, art. 7, IX).
Work With Us Form
When you submit your résumé, we collect: name, e-mail, phone, and the résumé file, along with any other information you include in it.
Purpose: evaluation of your application for current job openings and retention in a talent pool for future openings, for up to 1 year from submission.
Legal basis: consent (LGPD, art. 7, I), given at the time of submission.
We recommend that your résumé contain only information relevant to the professional evaluation, avoiding the submission of sensitive data that is not pertinent to the selection process.
2. Technical data, cookies and analytics
Technical browsing data
We may also collect technical data related to site access, such as IP address, date and time of access, browser, device, pages visited, traffic source, and security logs.
This data is used for site operation, security, spam prevention, abuse protection, generation of aggregated access metrics, and improvement of the browsing experience.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (LGPD, art. 7, IX), particularly for security, fraud prevention, spam prevention, site protection, and generation of aggregated metrics.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies strictly necessary for site operation, security, spam prevention, and abuse protection. We may also use access analytics tools, such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, which do not rely on tracking cookies, to obtain aggregated metrics about visits, pages accessed, traffic sources, and site performance, without directly identifying visitors.
We do not use behavioral advertising cookies on this site.
3. Retention periods

At the end of the applicable retention period, data is deleted or anonymized, unless retention is required to comply with a legal obligation, exercise legal rights, or another basis permitted under the LGPD.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. To operate this website, we use the following service providers:

When international data transfers occur, they will be carried out based on the mechanisms set forth in the LGPD, particularly art. 33, and applicable ANPD regulations, including contractual and security measures adopted by the providers used.
5. Data security
We adopt technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or improper destruction. Access to data is limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
6. Your rights
Under LGPD art. 18, you have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your data;
- Access the data we hold about you;
- Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
- Request anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary, excessive, or unlawfully processed data;
- Request deletion of data processed based on consent;
- Request data portability;
- Request information about with whom your data is shared;
- Request information about the possibility of not providing consent and the consequences of refusal;
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out prior to withdrawal;
- Object to processing carried out in non-compliance with the LGPD;
- File a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
